The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program provides 15 to 18 year-old youths with meaningful, professionally managed career-exploration opportunities in Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) operations. The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program offers valuable paid work experience and training to better equip each participant with the skills needed for a highly competitive job market. Examples of exploratory career fields in this program are: Child and/or Youth Development, Marketing & Graphics, Library & Information Science, Food & Beverage Management, Veterinary Services, Recreation & Tourism Management, Physical Education, Information Management, and Sports Management.

The EDGE! Program offers out-of-school opportunities for youths ages 6 to 18 to experience, develop, grow and excel by participating in cutting-edge art, fitness, life skills and adventure activities. The EDGE! program is open to dependents of all branches of the Military, DoD Civilians, Government Contractors, and Retirees. Registration is free and is done at Parent Central, bldg. 2797.
